“I trust in the ‘ebb and flow’ of the universe. I trust that life is bigger than what I can see. I trust that there is a divine order beyond my control. And I trust that no matter what happens, I will be all right.” 

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, flow with it, and join the dance. May my creativity ‘FLOW’ from me like a river, no forcing and no holding back, the way it is with children. The river is everywhere. Being “in flow” is everything.

“The biggest lesson I learned this year is to not force anything – conversations, friendships, relationships, attention, love. Anything forced becomes inauthentic and is just not worth fighting for, whatever flows flows, what crashes crashes. It is what it is……I must trust and surrender to the FLOW.”

As always with my work, I try to focus more on what I think jewelry “could be” rather than what most people think jewelry “should be” – for me it’s always about “the possibilities“! My experimentation with unusual and alternative materials frees my imagination and provides many opportunities for wonderful accidents and new techniques that influence the finished product.

If this work has a mission, it is this: To see the beauty and potential of all things and the possibilities that a different point of view can create. It may be an empty water bottle, plastic utensils, rubber tubing, electrical wires, mesh tubing, or trash bags. Whatever the material or the original purpose, it can be transformed into something new and unexpected with a new and viable reason for existing.

Materials used in this collection: Up-cycled mesh tubing, hand made fabric beads, recycled glass bottle beads, clay, cork, coral, bone, lava, wood and bamboo beads, sterling silver Bali beads, copper and silver chains, aluminum and sterling silver tubing, carbon fiber tubing, magnet clasps.
